AVOP Training & Testing

Airside Services is Toronto’s most experienced and trusted provider of 3rd party AVOP training and testing. Our qualified D and DA AVOP trainers and testers not only service our own personnel but are trusted by over 30 other TPIA tenants ranging from major airlines such as Air Canada, Delta, and KLM to government bodies such as NAV Canada and Public Safety Canada. Our on-site training facility is located in the VISTA Cargo Building.

Past Projects

Over our 25-year history, we have provided Airside Escort and Surveillance services for many major new construction operations at TPIA. Our contribution to operational peace of mind also includes year-round services for runway and taxiway renovation projects throughout all four seasons. Airside Services is the leading service provider when it comes to safety and compliance with these complex and sensitive areas of the airport.

Winter Operations/Snow Removal
While the weather can be unpredictable, dependable airport safety can never waver. That’s why Airside Services has been trusted to provide dependable Airside Escort services for snow removal operations throughout the winter season. Our ability to provide organizational flexibility helps ensure the continued operation of TPIA and safety of the traveling public under extreme weather conditions.

Film Shoots
When movies, TV shows and commercials are filmed at Toronto Pearson International Airport, Airside Services is the background extra you never even knew existed. We have provided Airside Escort and PSL displacement services for numerous movie shoots within the airport’s restricted area including “The Incredible Hulk”, “Amelia”, “Tommy Boy” and “Owning Mahoney”.
